Suresh Babu raises concerns about "Streaming"

Top Producer, Distributor and Exhibitor Suresh Babu spoke with YouTube channel "Filter Kaapi" and raised concerns about the way Films are faring in Telugu States. He has termed November 2019 as an all time low for Exhibition Industry and added that it has become tough to pay even for basics like electricity and salaries of employees of the theatres.

Suresh Babu blamed the slow down on Over The Top Streaming platforms which have become a huge success off-late thanks to cheaper internet and wider availability of 4G service. He added that the audiences are preferring to watch only spectacle films like Sahoo, Sye Raa in theatres and waiting for Streaming when it comes to Regular ones. The Exhibition Industry on the whole seems a worried lot about what future holds with Large scale Movie Watching slowly becoming limited to Weekends & Holidays.
