Bodyguard is biggest opener for Venky

Sankranthi Bodyguard turned out to be the biggest 1st week opener for Venky. The film has earned a worldwide 1st week opening of around 13 Crores. Nagavalli with around 12Cr is the best for Venky so far, but Bodyguard crossed it comfortably competing with a mammoth all time record opener Business Man.

With 2 consecutive senior heroes films failed to rake in big numbers ( SRR & Rajanna ) inspite of positive buzz, Venky`s Bodyguard is a big relief and indicates there is till something left for them. Although Sankranthi helped the film, competition with BM definitely nullifies that advantage.

Complete 1st week numbers will be posted by evening.
