Review :Rowdy Fellow

`Rowdy Fellow`, is a Stylish Cop Drama. A decent attempt but too slow for the common audience.

Story :

Rana Pratap Jayadev ( Nara Rohit ) is an Ultra Rich Foreign Returned Bachelor. On his Road trip visit to Eluru with a friend, he gets into an unnecessary controversy with a Politician`s ( Rao Ramesh ) Gang to save a life and the Cop ( Aahuti Prasad ) makes him apologize to them thus hurting Jayadev`s Ego very badly. He takes it very personally and becomes a cop to take Revenge. What follows is how he demolishes the Politician`s Activities.

Performances:

Nara Rohit surprises with his improved and matured performance. The film is more or less a one man show and he has managed to deliver a good performance with right impact. Rao Ramesh is excellent with his histronics as well as villainy. Posani played the comic relief to good effect. Visakha singh disappoints and is not at all a Heroine material. Gollapudi impresses with a cameo. Rest are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: The sound track is pretty good and is a plus but songs are average and aren`t catchy except the title song.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: So - so.

Stunts: Okay.

Analysis :

The film is not your Typical commercial entertainer. It is a slow paced, stylishly narrated and intense Cop Drama. But This is pakka commercial story with a different narration like Baanam. The Lead Characters have been established well but the romance angle falls flat. Entertainment is adequate and slow paced screen-play is not every body`s cup of tea. The 1st half is better than 2nd and some might feel it all ended in an hurried manner and can be confusing too as there is lot of depth in Dialogues. The film on the whole is a Decent attempt which is let down by slow pace. Can watch it.
