Review : Power

Raviteja`s Power is your typical Action Entertainer. Watch it for Powerful Entertainment.

Story :

Baldev Sahay ( Raviteja ) is a Powerful Corrupt ACP in Kolkata who dies in an accident. Tirupathi ( Raviteja) is his look-a-like in Hyderabad who`s aim is to become a Police Officer!. After He lost all his hope, a Politician from Kolkata offers Tirupati, Baldev`s job to serve his own purpose which fulfils the later`s dream too. What follows is What Baldev is actually about.

Performances:

Raviteja managed all the shades in his Characters very well!. He delivered a Pretty Good performance. Brahmanandam & Sapatgiri did a typically good job. Hansika & Regina are fine and adequate. Mukesh Rishi, Brahmaji, Kota, Prakash Raj, Ajay, Subbaraju and etc are okay.

Technical Departments:

Music: Thaman did a Decent job and songs are well shot and visually nice. But the film lacked that Chartbuster which takes it to a whole new level. BGM is Okay and good in parts.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: The film is largely racy barring in the middle where it gets into the real story. Fine Editing with Crispy cuts. Run Time is Perfect.

Stunts: Barring the `Port Episode`, the rest should have been a lot better.

Story,Screenplay & Direction :

The Subject is your Typical Action Entertainer!. The film reminds us of some Old Hits like Vikramarkudu but holds its own line duly following the tested format. It is action packed and has enough entertainment with a dash of sentiment. The 1st Half after the Intro is largely fun. The film moves into real story in the second and audience might feel a bit drag but it picks up from superb Port Sequence and ends decently. On the whole it is a Good One time watch for its Powerful narration & entertainment. Some of the Fights are over the top but Production Values make-up for it. And off-course, there is a lot of blood in a few scenes.

Box-office Verdict

The film has got right mix of commercial elements to score at Box-office. It may as well turn out to be a consecutive Hit for Raviteja if he can sustain the upcoming `Aagadu` Onslaught. But Promotions are going to be very key to pull the audience.
