ABO Mini Review : Laddu Babu

Laddu Babu neither provides proper regualr entertainment nor stands out as different attempt.

Story : The story of an Over fat Guy. He has a Father who don`t care for him and only wants to sell the house by marrying him off ( Can`t reveal Plot ). But Laddu Babbu never likes the `Matches` his Father brings in and always rejects them. On the other hand, one School Boy who lives alone with his mother, likes Laddu Babu so much. How this Boy changes the life of Laddu Babu forever forms the rest.

Story & Screen Play : A Pretty Different attempt making use of regular emotions. The film`s story is more or less good. But the narration part is where Ravi Babu messed it up. To be frank, Narration tests your patience and is a bit irritating at times. Ravi definitely tried to make a different film but failed in execution part.

Performances : Naresh did well and tried his best to save the film. He is pretty good in emotional scenes as well. Kota, Bhumika, Poorna & the Kid are fine and adequate. Brahmi, Ali, Venu Madhav and others have short cameos to play.

Songs & Background Music : Neither Music nor BGM is upto the mark. Songs were typically different same as Ravi`s other flicks but nothing great.

Direction : Average. Nice attempt but should have been a lot better.

Plus : Story, Naresh & Climax.

Minus : Narration & Songs

Overall Movie Rating : 2.75 / 5 ( At Your Own Risk )

BoxOffice Verdict :

The film was made on a modest budget and got decent Prices. But Its Box-office prospects are not looking good.
