Review : Auto Nagar Surya

`Auto Nagar Surya`, the 3 years in making Action Entertainer scores in Action but falls very short on Entertainment.

Story :

The Story of an Orphan Mechanic who raises against all odds fighting against Mafia, Politicians & System. Surya ( Chay ) loses his parents in a Train Journey when a Rowdy Kills them for daring to stop him. He then moves on to Auto Nagar ( Vijayawada ) and become an ambitious mechanic. But the Rowdy elements & System comes haunting him again and this time he goes to jail for facing them. The film is all about after he is back from the Jail, how he raises again and faces the hurdles teaching antagonists a lesson and ripping them apart. 

Performances:

Chay delivered one of his Better performances in this film. He looked rough and it suited him the better than his other flicks . He still needs to improve in a few things but did his best. Samantha`s role is very limited and okay. The Main Villain did well. JP, Sai Kumar, Ajay and etc are fine.


Technical Departments

Music: Anup did score some good BGM but his Songs aren`t good enough on screen.
Cinematography:   Okay

Editing: 159 Minutes. It should have been more short considering its thin story line.

Story,Screenplay & Direction : 

Story is an Intense `fight against corrupt system` Kinda Drama. The 1st Half sets up the premise and establishes Surya as a power centre and is Okay. The 2nd Half feels dragged with no story except mind games. Songs are weak and Comedy is hardly good enough. The Intense Premise and powerful narration with good dialogues save the film from being a bad one. It is a watchable film if one can adjust to the plot and move on with its seriousness. The Script demanded a big star and better actor, although Chay did a lot better than his previous flicks. It might still make some money.
