ABO Review : 'Pushpa'

`Pushpa` is a Watchable Crimercial Entertainer!.

Story :

Pushpa (Allu Arjun) from a Poor Family and messed up Childhood turns to red sandalwood smuggling near Tirupati. He rises up the ladder within a short period and finds out the duping of Mangalam Seenu(Sunil). The film is his journey from a Nobody to becoming the Kingpin.

Performances:

Allu Arjun delivers a career best performance in a highly `difficult to enact` character. His comedy timing steals the show and the attitude and body language through out the film is impressive. Rashmika has an over the top characterization which may not be well liked. Sunil fits the bill and is good. Rao Ramesh, Ajay Ghosh, Anasuya, Dhananjaya are good too. Others are adequate.

Music: Decent Album but Needed a far better Soundtrack

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Decent.

Stunts: Good.

Analysis :

`Pushpa` is a Decent Commercial Entertainer on Red Sandal Smuggling from Sukumar who seems to have aimed to make an Andhra Narcos based on Some Real happenings back in the 2000`s!. The film`s 1st half is especially good and the 2nd is ordinary with an unconventional end which leaves the audiences with mixed emotions. Allu Arjun`s One-man show holds the film together and it is a must watch for his fans. A Hurried Post-production seems to have impacted the Background score and audio quality which have limited the film`s impact and narration. Nevertheless this is a pretty good option for a one time watch this Year end.
