ABO Review : 'Thimmarusu'

‘Thimmarasu` is An Investigative, Entertaining Thriller

Story :

‘Satyadev’ takes up a decade old Murder case in which he feels the accused has been wrongfully implicated. But every clue he tries to explore leads to tragedy and he finds it very difficult to prove the young lad’s innocence. Can he manage to crack the case and deliver true justice?, forms the rest.

Performances:

Satya dev performs well almost right through and leads the film on his shoulders. He has managed to pull off even a little over-the-top scenes with admirable ease and seems almost ready to reach the next level. Brahmaji had a good & meaty role which is a major source of laughter. Priyanka has a lot to improve upon and has had no impact.

Technical Departments:

Music: Good.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Okay.

Stunts: Decent.

Analysis :

`Thimmarasu` is a decent investigative thriller which apart from being intriguing with some thrills and twists here and there, also has ample entertainment. The film could have been an even better experience if the Court Room scenes had better writing apart from probably throwing some more focus on the antagonist and his motives. But the Core concept of investigation drama has been gripping and keeps everyone guessing. Nevertheless It has enough in it to be worthy of a theatrical viewing and is an easy one time watch but leaves you wanting for more.
