ABO Review : Gaali Sampath

‘Gaali Sampath` is a Poorly Executed Survival Drama!.



Story : 

Gaali Sampath (Rajendra Prasad) cannot speak as his vocal cords got damaged in an accident 2 decades ago. He along with his son (Sree Vishnu) live in Araku. Sampath gets misleaded towards playing spoil-sport in his son`s love story. Realizing his mistake, he gets emotional and in a moment of self pity and rage, accidentally slips into a 30-feet open pit. Will Sampath survive?, forms the rest.

 


Performances:

Rajendra Prasad comes up with a fine performance but is letdown by the screenplay. Sree Vishnu did a decent job but Lovely Singh fails to make an impact. Satya and other supporting cast are adequate.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Average.

Stunts: Limited. Decent.




Analysis : 

`Gaali Sampath” revolves around father-son duo but it is more of a survival drama. Basic plot is somewhat interesting but the execution is poor. The 1st half follows a formulaic narrative with a cringeworthily outdated comedy and the second half is all about survival drama, but it is unconvincing. `Gaali Sampath` needed better writing and a gripping narration and never recovered from the lame beginning.
