ABO Review : 'HIT'

`Hit` is a Passable Crime Thriller.

Story :

Vikram (Vishwak Sen) is an upright officer from Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) and is in an ongoing relationship with Neha (Ruhani Sharma). A girl goes missing on the (Hyderabad) Outer ring road but the Cops fail to solve it even after 2 months. With Neha also going missing, Vikram gets into the investigation mode to uncover the plot.

Performances:

Viswak carried the film on his shoulders in an intense story driven character with grey shades. Chaitanya who played an important supporting character also did well. Ruhani sharma has an extended cameo and is decent. Hariteja, Murali sharma, Brahmaji and Bhanu chander are more than adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Good. Background score is excellent.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Okay.

Stunts: Decent.

Analysis :

`Hit` starts off promisingly well as a Mystery Crime thriller. The film has been narrated in a suspenseful manner till the very end but the lack of proper twists and turns makes the film look like a dragged affair in the 2nd half. This is a very neatly packaged and stylish thriller with good background score and performances. But the overall impact has taken a big hit with the climax being weak which leaves the audience with an incomplete feel.

Movie Rating: 2.75/5

Box-office Verdict :

With WW Theatricals at 5 Cr Apx this may have to end as an average at best considering the off-season and limited appealing content.
