Saahasam is an Adventurous Puzzling Thriller revolving around a treasure hunt.

Story : Gopi Chand is on a Treasure hunt which was left by his ancestors in Pakistan. He meets Taapsee along the way to achieving his Goal. How they survive in Pakistan against all the odds forms the rest of the story.

Story & Screenplay : Okay

Music & BGM :  Limited scope for Songs in the film which aren’t that catchy but well shot. BGM is adequate.

Performances : Gopi Chand played perfect to the roller coaster ride of emotions. Shakti Kapoor stands out amongst the rest and Taapsee is adequate.

Visuals :  Fine

Direction : Average, isn’t upto the mark as per standards set by Yeleti’s previous flicks.

Plus : Fresh Locales  (for a Telugu film) & Good last half-an-hour.

Minus : Mostly Boring 1st Half. 

Overall Movie Rating : 3 / 5 ( Watchable )

Boxoffice Verdict :

Saahasam with poor publicity & out of form cast n crew may find it hard to sustain at the Boxoffice. Made on a 15Cr medium budget , this adventure drama film needs a lot of luck to get break-even.
