ABO Review : 'Andhagadu'

`Andhhagadu` is a Decent Cross-Genre Comedy!.

Story :

A Blind Radio Jockey, Gowtham (Raj Tarun) falls for Dr. Nethra (Hebah). Soon after falling in love, he gets to `SEE` in his life for the first time thanks to a donor. This kick-starts strange things and he starts to interact with his dead donor. The People in his life think he`s become insane. Is he right about all this?, there lies the twist in the tale.

Performances:

This is the most Multifaceted Role for Raj Tarun in his career so far and he pulls it off with ease holding the film together. Hebah is decent as an actor but needs to concentrate on her looks, Jaded at times. Raja Ravindra is a surprise package and is good as the main antagonist. Rajendra Prasad is very good in an important role. Shayazi Shinde, The Villain`s Gang and rest of the supporting cast are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Songs act more as speed-breakers. BGM is adequate.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Adequate.

Action: Over The Top.

Analysis :

Andhhagadu is a Cross-Genre Entertainer. The film starts off as a Regular Romantic Comedy and then embraces the Horror elements and finally ends up as a Revenge Thriller. It is a Decent One from Writer-Director Veligonda Srinivas who manages to maintain tempo for the large parts despite forced songs and other over the top elements. The 1st half of the flick is especially the better one with Hit Pair of Raj Tarun - Hebah yet again delivering the goods. Twists and Turns of the Pre-Interval and Pre-Climax makes up for the flaws and it all ends as a Decent affair. This is a watchable one on the whole, especially for its Commercial Stuff with a Some What Different Story.

1. Over The Top at times.

2. Ordinary Music and Forced Songs.

Rating: 3 / 5 (Watchable)

Box-office Verdict :

The film is receiving decent reports from the Audience and is off with Decent openings. This is most likely to end up as a minimum guarantee venture at-least in Telugu States considering Raj Tarun`s recent Track Record.
