SMS is a lovely entertainer and good time pass film to watch this valentine season.
Story : The story of a Shiva & Shruti who met in a train to Hyderabad. How their relationship grows further, the ego clashes, sentiments & etc., forms the rest of the story.
Story & Screen Play : Although there is nothing new in the story, fast paced screenplay keeps this film interesting until the end.
Performances : Sudhir did a decent job considering he’s a debutant. His dances & action sequences are quite good. But, his voice is a bit odd and irritating in a few scenes. Regina did justice to her girl next door character and is a worthy selection. Both comedians did an okay job.
Songs & Background Music : Music is a plus for this film & BGM by Yuvan & Selva is superb.
Direction : Good.
Plus : Entertainment, Songs, Climax & Lead pair’s chemistry.
Minus : Sudhir’s voice & overacting family scenes.
Overall Movie Rating : 3.25 / 5 ( Good Time Pass! )
BoxOffice Verdict :
SMS made on a small budget, was sold at decent prices in few areas and released on their own in other territories. The film should become a safe bet for every one concerned.
