ABO Review : 'Sivalinga'

`Sivalinga` is a Passable Horror Comedy.

Story :

Sivalinga (Lawrence) just before his marriage to Satya (Ritika), starts investigating his CB-CID Case of Raheem`s (Shakti) Mysterious Suicide. They Move to a different location post-marriage and start to get haunted by Raheem who reveal his is a murder. Unfolding all the events behind the Murder forms the rest.

Performances:

Lawrence in a Typical role but with a class touch is good. Ritika steals the show and Shakti is superb.

Technical Departments:

Music: Okay.

Cinematography: Okay.

Editing: Adequate.

Stunts: Obviously Over the top.

Analysis :

`Sivalinga` is a standalone film and is not a part of the Muni Series. The film has plenty of similarities with previous P Vasu Films and yet somehow manages to hold interest thanks to its Investigative Drama. It has typical horror comedy elements which may appeal only to the Target Audience. Over Dramatized Interval and Climax are a plus where as the Drama in general is completely predictable. This ain`t a bad one to try, if you like Typical Horror Comedies.

1. Investigative Story.

2. Horror Elements.

Minus:

1. Cliched.

2. Rehash of Old Films.

Box-office Prospects:

Aimed at Masses, this might have a Decent Run at the Box-office.
