ABO Review : JIL

Gopichand`s `Jil` is an easily watchable and Stylish Action Entertainer with ample Romance.

Story :

`JIL` is the story of a Fire Officer ( Gopichand ) who along with his Family and Friends, is under attack from a Mumbai Don ( Kabir ) after the former Co-coincidently saves the Latter`s Ex-Aide ( Brahmaji ). What does this Don wants from his aide and how the Fire Officer comes out of the mess he created for Him and Family forms the rest.

Performances:

Gopichand looks a different Man in this. He has a Class and Stylish look with Regular Mass intact for the action episodes. He did well as usual. Raashi Khanna is more than adequate and added Big Glamour to the film. Kabir is Angry and got Menacing looks, did fine. Brahmaji, Posani, Srinivas Avasarala, Chalapathi Rao, Prabhas Seenu, Urvasi and the rest of supporting Cast are Adequate and did their job.

Technical Departments:

Music: Ghibran did a very good job. Songs are well shot and are a treat on Screen. Sound Track is adequate.

Cinematography: by Shakti Saravan is Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Stunts: by Anil Arasu are Good and a plus.

Analysis :

The film is your Typical Commercial Entertainer but with Refreshingly Class & Stylish Treatment. It is a mixture of Intense Action Drama with Cute Romance. The film starts off on a Decent note and starts moving with Romantic Track and situational Comedy. A couple of songs which are shot well and Okayish Interval makes it a Decent 1st half and gives it some momentum. The 2nd Half dwells on the thin story line with a couple of Good episodes and Convincing Climax Making it an easy one time watch. On the flip side, it may not appeal in B&C Centres as well as it does to Audiences from Cities and Towns. The Treatment is more classy here. Nevertheless, `JIL` is a good watch for Brand New Classy Gopichand, Glamorous Raashi, Peppy Songs, Intense Action and Stylish Narration.

Box-office Verdict :

`JIL` has been released on their own by Makers in half of the areas and was sold only in limited areas. It will be a Hat-trick winner for UV Creations if it can attract Mass audience too. And should be minimum Guarantee Performer at the Box-office in Major Centres. Anything more is a bonus.
