ABO Review : Yenthavadu Gaanie

`Yenthavadu Gaanie`, the 3rd instalment in the Gautham Menon`s Unofficial Cop Drama Franchise is finally out in Telugu with a Dubbed Version.

Story :

Satyadev ( Ajith ) meets Chandramukhi (Anushka) on a Flight Journey. They meet later in a Cafe the next morning, where Victor ( Arun Vijay ) comes to attack them. Who is Victor? Who is Satyadev and why the former is after the latter and Chandramukhi, forms the rest. Revealing more details will spoil the Thrill.

Analysis :

This is a Typical Gautham Menon flick with Plenty of Action as well as Emotional Drama. It is set in an Urban Arena with Gangsters, Illegal Trade etc., and reminisces us of the Director`s earlier flicks. 1st half of the film largely deals with the Flashback and 2nd half is more about the current conflict and the final battle. Action Sequences, majority of them Dark, have come out well. The Emotional Part is also Fairly good but film is a bit lengthy. Being the Emotional Journey of a Guy, the film takes a lot of turns and doesn`t stick to commercial Formula which is the beauty of this Whole movie. May be still it is not going to be liked by all sections of the audience but should work for the Urban lot. This is a Worth a watch for Gautham`s Direction and Ajith`s Performance from a Critical Point-of-view.

Performances :

Ajith is at ease with All shades of his Character and delivered an All-round Performance. Arun Vijay did surprisingly good and Ajay`s dubbing suited him well. Anushka, Trisha, Parvathy Nair and Vivek are Adequate. Rest of the supporting Cast are fine.

Technical Details :

Decent Songs on-screen and Pretty good background Score. Camera work is brilliant and Stunts are adequate. Fair enough Editing.

Minus :

1.Lengthy.

2. Limited Appeal.

The film has scope to do Good business in `A` Centres.
