Review : Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju

Kranthi Madhav`s `Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju` is a Fresh, Poetic & Touching Tale of Matured Romance. A Very good watch for Serious Movie Buffs who love Intense romance.

Story :

A saga of two Separated Lovers divided by Religion & Class. A Look back on their College romance, Life Ambitions and how they are dealing the post-Separation period and what caused it?.

Analysis :

Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju (MMIRR), is an intense romantic saga. It has Poetic Dialogues, Touching Emotions, Excellent Music and Good Performances all coupled together. Nevertheless, it may still not appeal to Majority of audience since it is right from the beginning is a serious film in its tone and demands an engrossed viewing. It might seem a bit slow at times but it is natural in these romantic Saga`s. The 1st half of the film takes its own time and builds up the Premise and is Good. The 2nd half totally takes into another level with touching conversations and great music. The ending is also good and is on the positive side, so typical Telugu people don`t have to fear about it. Having said all this, it might still seem a ridiculous, long boring affair which has Lectures on love written all over to some audiences as its entirely up-to one`s own tastes. The film stands as a unique film like the Love Saga`s offered by Mani Ratnam & Gowtham Menen.

Performances:

Sharwanand & Nithya Menen have delivered a superb Performance. It is remarkable that they have been able to deliver such a matured performance and `MMIRR` truly ranks amongst their best works. Pavitra Lokesh, Tejaswi, Punarnavi, Nazar and etc.,. are fine.

Technical Departments:

Music: Gopi Sundar`s Music & Sound Track is very good and is a big plus. He has totally pushed the film to another level with his Excellent Sound track. All songs are situational and are decent on-screen.

Cinematography: Cool.

Editing: Adequate.

Box-office Verdict:

Films such as `MMIRR` always have a very limited appeal at the Box-office, being thin on Entertainment. Barring a miracle, sadly we feel it won`t work.
