Review : Temper

NTR - Puri Jagannadh`s `Temper` is an intense action Drama saved by a Roaring Performance from the Young Tiger.

Story :

`NTR` plays a Corrupt, Selfish and Egoistic cop who is more interested in Money. He gangs up with Local Goon, `Prakash Raj` for personal gains and gives a blind eye to the latter`s Illegal activities. One fine day, he realizes his mistakes after a series of events which led to a Big crime. Now NTR wants to finish Prakash Raj and Brothers by dragging them to justice.

Performances:

NTR has managed to deliver an Excellent and Probably Career Best Performance Without any hint of doubt. `Temper` isn`t going to be what it is now, without Tarak and no-body would have pulled off this with such ease and convincing performance. He has worked Hard on his Body and it clearly shows on screen with a New & Modern Looking NTR especially in Songs. Full Marks and Well done.

Prakash Raj did his part with ease. Posani has a full length role in which he`s Good. Kajal looked at her glamorous best and is adequate. JP, Subbaraju, Madhurima, Sonia, Pavitra and etc., did their bit.

Technical Departments:

Music: Anoop has delivered a Decent Commercial Album. 2 songs are Very Good on screen with Excellent Dances from NTR. Mani Sharma`s BGM is good too.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate overall.

Stunts: Decent to Good. But, Too Many.

Analysis :

The film isn`t your Typical Telugu Commercial Entertainer. It is an Intense Action Drama with an undercurrent of social relevance. The Screen-play is good and all the events have been connected and portrayed well. The 1st half of the film is Average with Decent romantic Track and 2nd half is Pure Adrenaline Rush with Pumped up action & emotion which is above average thanks to Excellent NTR. On the flip side, `Temper` is unnecessarily loud at times and has a fight too many. It appeals to Fans & Mass audiences the most and is strictly average fare for the rest being Thin on entertainment and High on action. You may try it for witnessing a brand new NTR, if you are okay with the Action/Drama Genre. Nevertheless, it is a treat to all his fans with an Energetic All-round Performance which is 1 of his Career`s best. He is simply superb.

Rating: 3 / 5 ( You May Watch it, a Treat for Fans )

Box-office Verdict :

The film is receiving very good Openings and it is all going to depend on how the General and in particular Family Audiences receive it. The Overall Commercial Prospects as things stand now seems to be fairly Promising, but it is unlikely to be that much needed Big Hit, NTR fans were hoping for.
