Kaththi is a Watchable Message Oriented Drama..!

Story :

Kathiresan ( Ilayathalapathi Vijay )  runs off from a prison and lands in chennai. One night he finds his Double `Jeevanandam` when he`s being attacked and saves him.  How he then steps into Jeeva`s shoes and solves a grave issue the village has been crippled with is the rest.

Performances:

Vijay managed to deliver a controlled and good Performance. He has shown good variations in his 2 characters and pulled off a heavy character with ease. Neil is perfect and apt. Rest are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Anirudh`s Okay Tunes have been shot well. BGM is Good and elevates the mood.

Cinematography:  Okay

Editing : Nice Edit, hardly any waste scene.

Stunts:  Cool ones which are close to reality. Coin fight is Good.

Story,Screenplay & Direction :

The film is your Typical tamil message oriented drama dealing with Farmer Issues in present day society. The 1st half is strictly okay but with a good interval and emotional flashback.  2nd half deals with solutions and is largely fine. It is An easy one time watchable film which will be an even better experience if one connects to the story.
