Review : Loukyam

Gopichand`s Loukyam is your Routine & typical " Hero - Villains - Bakra " Entertainer. A Decent Time-pass flick.

Story :

A wafer thin Story of a Guy ( Gopi ) who meddles in to a Big Brother`s ( Sampath ) affairs taking the elder sister away to marry off with his friend. The Brother is now searching for the Guy who after then falls for the younger (Rakulpreet) sister!. What follows is typical stuff we are quite used to from the last few years or so.

Performances:

Gopichand did a Decent job. He is at ease in comedy but his underplay is rather unnatural. Brahmanandam did a typically good job. Sampath, Rakulpreet, Chandra Mohan & Mukesh Rishi are fine and adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Anoop`s music is very average and songs are only slightly better on screen with nice visuals. BGM is Adequate.

Cinematography: Okay.

Editing: Fine

Stunts: Okay. No over the top stunts as it mainly concentrates on Entertainment.

Story,Screenplay & Direction :

The Subject is your Typical Entertainer in the mould of Gudumba Shankar - Dhee - Ready & etc.,. The film reminds us of many other films too duly following the time-tested format. But the entertainment part has worked out fine here thus saving the film to a large extent. It is full on fun film right from start to end. The 1st half is strictly okay and is some how adequate. And the 2nd half is much better and entertaining making it a Decent Entertainer. A good time-pass flick if you Don`t expect anything new.

Box-office Verdict

The film has got Good mix of commercial elements to work at Box-office. It may as well turn out to be a much needed Hit for Gopichand, nevertheless it could be a Minimum Guarantee film.
