ABO Review : Alludu Seenu

`Alludu Seenu` is your typical average Telugu Commercial Entertainer. Its neither Good enough nor Bad.

Story :

Narasimha ( Prakash Raj) & his Alludu Seenu ( BS Srinivas ) plan to runaway from Badami ( KA ) to Chennai and unexpectedly land up in Hyderabad. Rather Surprisingly then Seenu finds out that his Uncle & The local Don Bhai ( Prakash Raj ) are lookalikes!. Also he falls for Anjali ( Samantha ), the Bhai`s Daughter. Then he hatches out a plan to use Bhai`s popularity by coming close to Dimple ( Brahmanandam ). All hell breaks lose when Bhai finds out whats happening?!. The rest is how he gets Anjali & the relation between the lookalikes!.

Performances:

BS Srinivas has looked more energetic in Dance Numbers than in Real Scenes. He seems to have put on a lot of effort for the Dances and has grace too but his Acting is pretty average but that`s understandable being a Debutant. He will only get better and Good Luck!. Prakash Raj is the Main Pillar of the film apart from Brahmi. Both have full length and important roles and they did justice to the Characters!. Sam & Pradeep Rawat come next and are adequate. This is the most glamorous film Sam ever did in her career or we may have to term it as extra skin show. But Honestly she is better all covered up if AS is any thing to go by. Tamanna`s item appearance is cool.

Technical Departments

Music: DSP did an okay job on the music front but the Visuals are grand and shot nicely!. Bellamkonda has spent huge sums on Songs and it shows on screen!. BGM should have been a lot better.. a lot!.

Cinematography: Okay

Editing: 151 Minutes. Adequate.

Story,Screenplay & Direction :

The film is you typical commercial subject. The 1st Half sets up the premise and is ordinary with a few laughs then and there. The 2nd Half is slightly better owing to some what better comedy. Songs are Nice and Comedy is Okay. But the Story line gives very limited scope to sustain the audience interest barring the Comedy Scenes. The Screen Play should have been a bit better here. Many films come up to mind when watching this film but that`s okay and quite common these days. On the whole it is an Average to Okay film and can be watched once for strictly time pass.
