Review : Rabhasa

Rabhasa, the NTR starer with hardly any hype is finally out today. It is a Regular Routine Formulaic entertainer which is a good one time watch Thanks to Entertainment.

Story :

Karthik ( NTR ) is on a mission to unite his Family by marrying his Cousin Indu (Sam). He targets Indu`s father too and gets into his bad books. And then assumes Bhagyam ( Pranita ), Indu`s friend for her and does different things to impress her. One fine day he realizes his mistake and by then it turns out that Karthik - Indu already have a connection to 2 different families and their mess. How they clear their mess and unites all the families forms the rest.


Performances:

NTR delivered a Pretty Good performance. Romance, Action, Comedy & Sentiment, his role got all the variations and he did well. Samantha although appears through out the film has only limited scope to perform and is adequate. And The `Garam Garam Silaka` is more of an Item Number than a Massy one considering her Costumes. Brahmi did his typical role and is fine. JP, Nagineedu, Ajay and etc.. are adequate.

Technical Departments

Music: Thaman did a Decent job. `Rakasi` & `Hawa Hawa` Songs are good on screen. His BGM is average and could have been a bit better.
Cinematography:  Good.

Editing: Fair enough. The film is surely chopped further after Censor and it is only 2 n half hours short although CBFC Certified runtime is a 12 Min more long. Have to agree that it is for the good.

Stunts:  Hardly Interesting fights, Decade old stuff.

Story,Screenplay & Direction : 

The Story is a Routine Commercial Entertainer with Action aplenty. It starts off on an easy going note and the main story will be revealed in the initial half hour itself. Apart from Songs & NTR-Sam combo scenes 1st half is strictly average but ain`t boring thanks to Twists. It ends with a Decent Interval before and after which, Large over the top action Sequences happen. 2nd Half moves into a different routine to in-house comedy of errors & lies!. This is largely fun and never a dull moment. And it ends with a Decent climax provided one connects to the Senti angle. On the whole, It is a Regular Format film and is a good one time Watch.

The film has got the Commercial Elements to do good Business at the Box-office. And any thing more is upto NTR and is bonus.
