Sai Dharam Tej plays a story driven character. He is a little off at Someplaces possibly due to health issues but manages to hold the film well. Samyukta Menon finally gets a meaty role and enacts it with a lot of ease. Sai Chand, Kamal Kamaraju, Rajeev, Shyamala and other supporting cast are adequate.

Analysis: 

`Virupaksha` transports you into a 90`s village effortlessly with Good Production design, great soundtrack and interesting core plot. The 1st half of the film is especially good and the 2nd is decent with an unconventional end. While there are plenty of thrilling moments to compensate for it all over the film, it is the weak romance which is the only flaw. This is a Proper Theatrical Movie whose essence can only be enjoyed at its fullest on the biggest screen possible with quality sound.
