Thoofan is an intense action flick which fails to keep you engaged.

Story : An honest sincere police officer after multiple transfers lands in Mumbai. How he encounters the Oil Mafia and become victorious in the end also taking his personal revenge is the rest.

Story & Screen Play : Your typical Hindi action flick with full of items songs. Poor story and average screen play which fails to keep you engaged.

Performances :

Ram Charan did his best as an angry young man. He has become matured and dailogue delivery is at ease. Srihari as Sher Khan impresses and Prakash Raj - Mahie Gill`s  `Meow Meow` chemistry is better than Charan - Priyanka. Thanikella Bharani is okay and Prakash Raj is good at times.

Songs & Background Music : 6 songs in the film including specially designed item song for titles. Mumbai ka Hero is well shot and the rest are passable. BGM is over the top and loud and some times a copy of James Bond flicks. 

Direction : Poor Direction.

Visuals : Good

Plus :  ACP vs Sher Khan confrontation & Dialogues.

Minus :  Pakka Hindi film, screen play, too many item songs & lack of lead pair chemistry.

Overall Movie Rating : 2.5 / 5 ( strictly for Charan fans )

BoxOffice Verdict :

The film a Hindi - Telugu Bi-Lingual released in the midst of Political uncertainty and last minute (distribution) Deal failures. It may not make much impact at the Boxoffice. Lack of any Biggies from the last 2 months is the only saving grace.
