ABO Review : 'Bangaraju'

`Bangarraju` is a Passable Family Entertainer!

Story :

Bangarraju (Nagarjuna) spends time having fun in Swarga Lokam. His wife (Ramya) passes away and joins to let him know about their grandson (Naga Chaitanya). She compels Bangarraju to set things right. How Bangarraju saves his grandson from a big conspiracy forms the rest.

Performances:

Nagarjuna shines with an impactful screen presence. Naga Chaitanya did well and has more run time. Krithi Shetty is strictly ordinary. Ramya Krishnan is adequate. Faria Abdullah and Daksha Nagarkar appear in special songs. Simrat Kaur has a cameo. Vedika, Darshana, Meenakshi also appear in a special song

Technical Departments:

Music: Songs are an asset.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Decent.

Stunts: Over The Top.

Analysis :

`Bangarraju` runs on a predictable note with same storyline as its predecessor `Soggade...`. The 1st half of the film is pretty ordinary and the 2nd is a bit better with the last 30 minutes working well and leaving a positive impact. This is packaged well with the songs and special appearances but the comedy didn`t work out as desired. On the whole, it is a passable watch thanks to Nag - Chay combo but would have been a lot better with good writing.

Box-office Verdict :

Sankranthi will ensure a Minimum Guarantee affair at the Box-office but an outright success will depend on attracting families in the present `CoVID` scenario.
