‘Sreekaram` : A Decent Emotional Drama!.

Story : 

Karthik (Sharwanand) who is from a farming family settles down as a software engineer due to financial difficulties. Chaitra (Priyanka) is in love with him from a longtime but he keeps refusing her proposal because he has no plans to settle down in the City. Karthik quits his job and returns to his village to bring back lost glory to the farmers and agriculture.

 

Performances:

Sharwanand shines with his matured performance. Priyanka is decent and has limited importance. Rao Ramesh steals the show with an emotionally charged performance. Naresh, Sai Kumar, Satya and other supporting cast are adequate.

Music: Good. 

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Okay.

Stunts: Limited. Decent.

Analysis : 

`Sreekaram` is a mixed bag with Core concept working out well but the Romance and Villainy turned out be underwhelming.  The film starts with routine elements and is a better affair once it starts to shift focus on the actual story. Emotional core has worked well but it needed a bit more gripping screenplay and a strong antagonist. The film is a decent watch nevertheless and is probably worth a try for its highly relevant story.

The film has a tough task ahead to succeed at the Box-office. May have to end as an average one at best
