ABO Review : 'Gaddhalakonda Ganesh'

`Gaddhalakonda Ganesh` is a Watchable Mass Entertainer!.

Story :

Abhilash (Atharva) is an aspiring film maker who wishes to do a film based on a Real World Criminal. He comes across Gaddhalakonda Ganesh (Varun Tej), a feared Gangster in Rural Telangana. But he can not approach him directly and had to resort to some tricks. The rest is all about Abhilash convincing Ganesh to reveal about his past and making a film on his story.

Performances:

Varun Tej leaves every one stunned with his energetic performance and is the main backbone of this otherwise ordinary Film. He looks menacing and gets the body language and dialogue delivery absolutely right. Atharva is fine and makes a Decent Telugu Debut. Pooja is decent in a limited role and adds the glam quotient. Mirnalini Ravi is a nice performer and has great potential. Supporting Cast are more than adequate.

Technical Departments:

Action : Over The Top. Adequate.

Music: Decent. Background Score is a Plus.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Gaddhalakonda Ganesh` is an Entertaining Gangster Saga with ample Mass Elements. The 1st half of the film is Pretty Decent and the 2nd is ordinary but ends with a Good Climax. The Comedy and Action Parts have mostly worked but the Romance and Emotional Episodes which are limited could have been better. This is a Mass entertainer which was not executed in a Typical manner thanks to its Strong Original Story by Karthik Subbaraj. Director Harish made few good changes and they ended up adding value and made it a more mainstream one unlike the Tamil Original. You May Try This one for its Entertainment quotient.

The film has scope to attract Masses and holds good potential to have a Decent run beyond the Opening Weekend which is expected to be Good.
