ABO Review : 'Saaho'

‘`Saaho` is a Lengthy Action Thriller which lacks connect!.

Story :

Roy (Jackie Shroff), the Don of a Mafia syndicate of Waaji (fictional) City gets Killed. An undercover cop, Ashok Chakravarathy (Prabhas) and a Crime Branch Cop Amritha Nair (Shraddha) join hands to find out about Serial robberies in Mumbai. Roy`s Son Needs a Black Box kept safely in Mumbai to unlock their secretly kept Wealth. But the Man behind Robberies is after the Black Box as well. Can Ashok stop the Robbery?. How Roy Empire`s fate is intertwined with Ashok forms the rest.

Performances:

Prabhas is great in Action Episodes and is let down by writing in Romantic Episodes. Shraddha gets a meaty role and is good. Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi and Neil Nithin Mukesh get important roles as well. Jacqeuline appears in a special song.

Technical Departments:

Action : Top Class!.

Music: Decent.

Cinematography: Excellent.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Saaho` is an Amateurishly Directed Action Thriller with Top notch Production Values and Grandeur. The film has enough twists and high octane action to command a visit but on the whole it doesn`t leave the desired impact. `Saaho` is letdown by its confusing screen-play and long run-time and lack of emotional connect. A Better Known Casting and interesting narration would have made this a really impressive one. This is a huge effort from the whole team and the quality and money shows on screen with stunning action episodes and locales. Nevertheless, this is still worth a try keeping your expectations in check.
