ABO Review : 'Guna 369'

‘Guna 369` is an Ineffectual Action Revenge Drama!.

Story :

Guna (Kartikeya) falls for Geeta (Anagha) and all seem to go well. When his acquaintance lands into trouble with the Local Don (Adithya Menon), Guna tries to settle it amicably. But things turn out to be shocking and he gets implicated in the murder. How Guna goes after the culprits, uncovering the betrayal and tragedy forms the rest.

Performances:

Karthikeya is good as the Angry Guna 369 but is ordinary as a lover boy. Anagha makes a decent debut. Adithya, `Jabardasth` Mahesh and the supporting cast are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Weak.

Cinematography: Decent.

Editing: Ordinary.

Analysis :

`Guna 369` is an Action Revenge Drama with a fairly interesting story which is let down by weak and inept narration. The film has some high octane Action sequences which makes it an average affair on the whole but it could have been a lot better. The Director came-up with a burning issue coupled with good Pre-interval and Climax Episodes but filled the rest of the film with Outdated Elements making it an ineffectual affair. This may be worth a try for its concept but at your own risk.

The Openings aren`t up-to the mark and the long run prospects doesn`t look rosy either.
