ABO Review : 'Kalki '

`Kalki` is an Investigative Thriller. A Mixed Bag.

Story :

Two rival gangs belonging to Narasappa & Perumandlu (Asutosh & Shatru) in Kollapur (Telangana) are fighting for supremacy. Sekhar Babu (Siddu), Brother of Narasappa gets killed. Kalki IPS (Dr. Rajasekhar) Lands to investigate and finds there is more to this than meets the eye. He unravel`s a big conspiracy. What is it and who killed Sekhar Babu forms the rest.

Performances:

Dr. Rajasekhar is fine. Rahul Ramakrishna and Asutosh Rana make a good impact as well. Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha, Poojitha Ponnada are adequate. Shatru, Siddu, Nazar and other supporting cast did well.

Technical Departments:

Music: Decent.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

`Kalki` is a Mixed Bag experience for an Investigative Thriller. The film touches multiple genres without finding the right balance. It is stylish and has a few twists and thrills in it but Uneven Narration and Slow Downs effect the film. This is good in parts and has enough action for the masses and is probably worth a try but don`t go with high expectations.

Box-office Verdict : With Telugu States Theatricals alone costing around 10 Cr, this is going to be a Failure.
