ABO Review : 'Goodachari'

`Goodachari` is a Well Executed Spy/Action Thriller.

Story :

An Indian Spy Organization, Trinetra’s agents including Raghuveer (?) die in an operation in Sikkim (1995). Gopi (Adivi Sesh), Raghuveer`s son gets raised by his uncle (also from Trinetra - Prakash Raj) and he is passionate about emulating his father to serve the Nation. After Numerous failed attempts, he finally makes it to Trinetra and gets trained and assigned an important role as field agent. But Terrorists spoil his party by eliminating key Trinetra Bosses and Gopi gets framed. How he uncovers the whole conspiracy forms the rest.

Performances:

Adivi Sesh Excels as a Secret agent and also managed a decent job in emotional episodes. Prakash Raj plays a Central role and is very good. A Senior Hero played another important role and is equally good. Supriya and Sobhita (Telugu Debut) are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Background score is a major plus and the Songs are good on screen.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Superb.

Action: Slick & Stylish.

Analysis :

`Goodachari` is a Good Spy Action Thriller which is driven by surprising twists and gripping narration. The film`s 1st half is especially very good and keeps you on the edge of the seat. The 2nd half might feel like a little dragged since the twists get revealed eventually, but is still good enough. The secretive and engaging narration keep the film going and coupled with some slick action episodes this makes up for a pretty good watch. On the flip side, The Spy/Action Genre may not work equally well with everybody but This is well executed and is a good watch.

1. Little Slow Down in the 2nd half.

Rating: 3.5 / 5

Box-office Verdict :

It is receiving largely Good reports from the Audience. With WW theatricals value at around 5 Cr Apx, this should be a Clean Hit and may also achieve Blockbuster status if it gains some traction in Mass Centers.
