ABO Review : 'Jai Lava Kusa'

`Jai Lava Kusa` is a Decent Emotional Action Entertainer.

Story :

Three Look-alike Brothers Jai, Lava & Kusa (NTR Jr, NTR Jr & NTR Jr) who are part of a Drama Company Family get separated in Childhood. The Elder one (Jai) who already hates both his younger brothers turns out to be a notorious gangster. On the other hand, Lava grows up to be an Overtly Kind Natured Bank Manager and Kusa, a Cunning Thief. Lava and Kusa unexpectedly meet around 18 years after and the latter tries to take advantage of Lava`s Troubles. But there lies the twist in the tale when both are summoned by Jai to his Den!.

Performances:

NTR Jr in a Triple Role with three completely different characterizations is Outstanding. He continues to hit new peaks with his acting. Sai Kumar gets a meaty role and is good. Raashi & Nivetha have limited scope and are adequate. Posani, Ronit Roy and others too are adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: DSP`s background score is a plus but the same can`t be said about his tunes.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Action: Massy and Over The Top at times.

Analysis :

`Jai Lava Kusa` is an Emotional Action Entertainer which aims to explore Brotherly Love. NTR Jr`s Performance is its Major asset and he single-handedly dragged it to be a watchable one despite certain flaws. The film has an uneven narraion with ups and downs but `Jai` holds it together and makes it a pretty decent watch. The film is little weak in Music department without a Chart-buster song although Tring Tring is good on-screen. Nevertheless you should try this for NTR`s Outstanding Performance and its Decent Entertainment.

1. Routine and Predictable at times.

Rating: 3 / 5 (Watchable)

Box-office Verdict :

The film is receiving mixed to Decent reports from the Audience. Considering the Content & WoM, it is sure to be an average to above average earner on the whole in Theatrical Recovery. Hit status depends on the next week Releases and how it holds in festive weekend.
