ABO Review : 'Om Namo Venkatesaya'

`Om Namo Venkatesaya` is a Mesmerizing Musical Devotional Tale.

Story :

This is the journey of Ram (Nagarjuna) who begins searching for God in childhood itself. He decides to leave family life to become Lord`s Devotee. Ram opposes vested interests controlling Tirumala and brings about changes giving respect to traditions. The Lord who is impressed by his devotion pays him a visit and the rest is about their relationship.

Performances:

Nagarjuna yet again in a devotional film delivers a stupendous, award winning performance. He is blessed to have done the films he did and this helps him probably to be remembered as one of the Great actors of Tollywood Ever.

Anushka in a full length role is Good. Saurabh Raj Jain as the Lord is very convincing and graceful. Rao Ramesh, Vimala Raman, Asmitha, Sai Kumar, Sampath, Raghu Babu are fine. Jagapathi Babu and Pragya Jaiswal play cameos.

Technical Departments:

Music: Very Good. All the Songs are a treat on-screen.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Good.

Visuals: Good.

Analysis :

Two Decades after their Blockbuster success of `Annamayya`, Nag, KRR & MMK are back to tell us, another interesting tale of a Devotee of Lord Venkateswara. We have been treated with a mesmerizing and entertaining narration which gains its major strength from Soulful Music and Nag`s Stupendous & lively Performance. The film has been dealt with in a simple and largely likable manner. The Episodes involving the Lord and his Devotee are a treat and Nag`s Performance in climax takes the cake. ONV also explores the history of Tirumala and screen-play is oven well with as little melodrama as possible. JK Bhairavi`s Writing is appreciable.

Movie Verdict :

We Don`t like to Judge Devotional Films with Ratings like Regular films. This is a Solid Good watch in its own way. Go Watch It for the Mesmerizing Musical Experience!.
