ABO Review : 'Bethaludu'

`Bethaludu` : An Unconvincing Thriller which lacks Proper thrills and connect.

Story :

Dinesh (Vijay Antony) is a successful Software Engineer who gets married to Aishwarya (Arundhati Nair). A Few Months after their Marriage, Dinesh starts hearing weird instructions and sounds in his mind making his life a mess. Where this leads Dinesh to?, forms the rest.

Performances:

Vijay Antony`s Performance is one of the positives in this flick. He is equally good with his Three Variations. Arundhati Nair also delivers a fine multi-layered performance.

Technical Departments:

Music: Vijay Antony`s Tunes barring `Jaya Lakshmi` are ordinary. Background Score is Pretty good and is a Plus.

Cinematography: Okay.

Editing: Okay.

Action: Limited and Adequate.

Writing : Could have been better & convincing.

Direction : Poor.

Analysis :

`Bethaludu` is not your typical Horror Thriller. In-fact it is not a Horror thriller at all. The film exploring supernatural, psychological and crime genres is packaged into a slow paced thriller. The 1st half of the flick is the better one and is largely okay with suspense elements aiding it. `Bethaludu` then falls flat in the later half with unconvincing narration, confusing the audience and leaving it for their own judgement in the end. What should have been a Decent Suspense Thriller ends as a Slow and Unconvincing one leaving the audience with a half baked and incomplete feel. You May still try this but you won`t miss much by skipping it.

The film Considering the Content has scope to do only average business at Best. Likely to be a Flop with 7.5 Cr SHARE Needed from Telugu states alone.
