`Kaashmora ` is a Passable Supernatural Entertainer With a strange yet interesting mix of Drama, Comedy, Period & Horror Genre`s.

Story :

Kaashmora is a con-exorcist whose family line is taking advantage of the people`s fears & superstitions. They finally get a big opportunity to leave it all behind and settle down rich after duping a big politician. What happens when Kaashmora has to finally encounter real ghosts and hundreds of years old problem forms the rest.

Performances:

 

Karthi is equally menacing and comical with his 2 different variations and has totally killed it. Vivek is predictably boring. Nayanthara lacks the Queenly royalty and fails to live upto the expectations of her character. Sri Divya is adequate. 

Technical Departments:

Music: Santosh Narayanan`s tunes are ordinary and songs on screen are visually rich.

Cinematography: Cool.

Editing: Adequate.

Action: Good!.

Writing : Could have been better with the screen play.

Direction : Average.

Analysis : 

``Kaashmora` is not just another routine horror drama. The film has enough story and characters in it to be worth a watch. It is the dragged narration and below par performances which has limited the film`s appeal and connect to the paying public. The pre-interval episode and the flashback are in a different zone altogether and makes it what it is at the end of the day. The comedy parts could have been better, nevertheless the flick is visually rich. Kaashmora may not reach every one`s expectations but it might be worth a watch for the period portions.

The film Considering the commercial Content has potential to do reasonable business in all centres. This may end as a minimum guarantee earner at the BoxOffice if not a Clean Hit.
