ABO Review : 'Jaguar'

Note : Telugu Version Review

`Jaguar` is just another routine & predictable commercial drama.

Story :

SS Krishna (Nikhil Kumar) a-k-a Jaguar is a medical student who kills people wearing a mask, according to his own pre-set plans. Why he is after only a select bunch of people and what is their connection to the college and his own past forms the rest.

Performances:

Nikhil Kumar did a decent Job considering he`s just a debutant. Not much of an actor yet, but is okay with his dances and also in action episodes. Deepti Sati making her debut is neither a convincing actor nor adds glam quotient. Jagapathi, Sampath, Aditya, Rao Ramesh, Ramya Krishna and Adarsh are more than adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: Average.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Okay.

Action: A Decent Job.

Writing : Weak & Routine with too many cliches.

Direction : Poor.

Analysis :

`Jaguar` is your typical Commercial Revenge Drama sticking to a template with routine episodes aplenty. The film is predictable from the word Go, but is some what saved by its lavish production values and casting. The Direction has been a letdown with even comedy isn`t working out much. There are a couple of decent episodes and action sequences for which the film might work for some sections. Nevertheless, this one is clearly not up-to the mark, on the whole.

Box-office Verdict :

The film Considering the Routine Content has scope to do at-least decently only in B& C Centers. But this may not make much impact on the whole with huge competition from tomorrow.
