ABO Review : Rakshasudu

`Rakshasudu` is an Intelligently packaged, all Genre entertainer!.

Story :

2 local conmen ( Suriya & Premgi) meet with an accident in the process of completing a job. After Recovery, One (Suriya) suddenly acquires a special power to see ghosts and spirits who even start approaching him to fulfil their wishes and promise to help him in return.

Analysis :

`Rakshasudu` is an Intelligently Packaged All Genre entertainer!. The film has Horror, Action, Romance, Comedy, Fantasy and Drama every thing packaged into one with Interesting concept and Twists at Regular Intervals. The 1st half of the film is good with romance, comedy and a superb Interval. 2nd half gets a bit melodramatic and recovers fairly well again and ends on a Positive note. It is mainly worth a watch for its Different concept of after-life and Narration which is largely fresh for a Big Budget film. Suriya`s Performance, spooky elements and Venkata Prabhu`s direction makes it a Decent to good film.

Performances :

Suriya is at ease with Various shades of his Character and did a Fabulous Job. Premgi is more than adequate. Nayanthara, Pranita, Parthiban and supporting Cast are okay.

Technical Details :

`Rakshasudu` has a couple of Decent tracks which are shot adequately well. The Back Ground Score is even better and is apt. Stunts are adequately done and Graphics could have been better. It is a Fairly Good Edit and cinematography is also good

Plus :

1. Twists.

2. Suriya.

3. Concept.

Minus :

1. Melodrama.

Overall Movie Rating : 3.25 / 5 ( You can watch it )

BoxOffice Verdict :

The film having gone at moderate prices in AP/N got scope to be Good Earner.
