ABO Review : Dongaata

The Kidnap comedy, `Dongaata` is a decent watch thanks to the Entertainment and Twists.

Story :

A Popular Actress (Lakshmi M ) gets kidnapped by 3 struggling bachelors for Cashing-in on by demanding ransom. But here lies a twist in the tale!. Why she was kidnapped?, and the circumstances leading into it form the rest.

Analysis :

`Dongaata` barring for a few minutes then and there is a decent watch. Both halves of the film are entertaining and have decent twists which makes it an interesting one in the end. The film should have stayed true to its main story in the middle too where it goes unnecessarily overboard and with an Orphanage song which should be trimmed. The film has decent comedy, interesting twists and largely watchable drama.

Performances :

Lakshmi Manchu did an okay job and is good at times. Adivi sesh and Brahmi are average and rest of supporting cast are adequate.

Technical Details :

`Dongaata` has some pretty ordinary music and songs are shot adequately well. The Sound Track could have been better. Camera work is Okay and the film should have been better edited in 2nd half.

1. Comedy.

2. Twists.

Minus :

1. Dragged at times.

2. Average Music.

Overall Movie Rating : 3 / 5

BoxOffice Verdict :

The film has scope do reasonably well in A Centres.
